Hello you, I hope you are still checking back every once in awhile. I’ve been away from this space for a couple of weeks (or maybe longer) as I was busy with this. Now that everything is more or less more stable, I’m able to find a breather and sit down to write to you guys. I hope that’s okay and thank you for all the kind messages you have dropped me across the weeks via email/DMs. I truly spur me on… SO! THIS IS WHAT I WAS SO BUSY WITH! I present to you, kāi – A dream two years in the making.

Been pretty obsessed with tulles recently if you can tell. It’s always a joy finding time to shoot fashion edits like these.

We’ve all got best friends and lovers.
I’m sure we’ve also been through our fair share of disappointments and heartaches.
Time and time again we pour out our heart and soul like we’ve never learnt from our mistakes.
To always see people as they seem, to believe in the love ( can you even call it that) that they bring to the table.
We’ve been told to never let our guard down, to never be vulnerable.
But time and time again we let ourselves down.

Back in Singapore for the next couple of days. I find myself inspired by friends I meet – specifically friends who drag me to magazine stores or locations that help me feel inspired to create better work. Surround yourself with people that build you up, help you breathe when you’re drowning in a mountain of work. Help you realise that you’re never alone. We all struggle to find ways to keep afloat and stay sane. I hope you always find a way and never let yourself drown in the negative thoughts your mind spins during tough times. This is what I felt like writing about today along with this fashion feature. 

I’ve never heard of Sanya before but now, I’ll remember this place forever. Sanya is the second must-visit destination on Hainan Island, after Haikou. The following visual story would tell you why –
